Description
Made from high quality, hand-picked Viura, Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca and other grapes from small, old vineyards (parcelas) on limestone soils. Approximately one third of the wine is fermented in semi-new high quality French oak barrels, for added texture and complexity, but without a clear oak character.
Subtle but exciting aromas that open up in the glass, stone fruit, herbs and white flowers. Juicy and refreshing on the palate, with real balance and length, showing a chalky, mineral finish. The quality of the fruit shines through and shows how interesting a Viura blend from old vines can be without being masked by heavy use of oak.
