Made from a high quality, low yielding Tempranillo blend from sloping vines (laderas) on limestone soils.
We determine the type and length of aging individually for each vintage, using a combination of stainless steel, concrete and used oak barrels and foudres for a total alternative aging of 2-3 years.
Clean and precise aromas of cherry, red berries and thyme. Medium bodied, with good length and weight on the palate, with a beautiful balance between fresh acidity, fruit concentration and firm but fine-grained tannins. A versatile, very satisfying drinking wine and an excellent example of Tempranillo from Rioja Alavesa in a cooler climate.
